As most of you have probably already noticed, you all have a new thread in your Journals. Well, there is a safe with $75,000 inside and you all have the combination to it in your Journals.

There are 3 groups in this mission. This first two groups are groups of 6, while the third group is a group of 2. You all have either a number or a mathmatical symbol. 1 person in each group will have a list of names of other players. That's the order which you put your numbers or symbols to form a mathmatic equation. Once you have the number solved for each equation, you will have your combination. Group 1 has the first number, Group 2 has the second, and Group 3 has the third.

Group 3, cause there are only 2 of you, you don't get told your order, but I think it'll be easy to figure out.

Forget the mathmatical order of equations. If a + or - comes ahead of a / or x, then do the + or = before the / or x.

My Mission on the D-List
In this Mission, you will have to answer trivia questions about one of the winners of The Mole: Kathy Griffin. Now, I know some of you may be asking "Why'd he pick her?" Well, I told a couple of people that the next game of mine that they played was going to have a Kathy Griffin challenge so that they can see the light.

Now, it's not as easy as just answering them all and sending them in. For each correct answer you send in, you earn a certain amount of money for the team. The first answer you send in will earn $1200 for the team. The second answer you send in will earn $800 for the team. The third will earn $650, the fourth $550, the fifth $500, and so on.

Once a question is answered correctly, no other player can earn money by answering that question.

All of the questions have been answered.

Ace answered 10 of the questions correctly before anyone else answered those, so he gets creditted with those 10 questions, earning $5,525 for the team.

Diane answered 10 of the questions correctly before anyone else answered those, so she gets creditted with those 10 questions, earning $5,525 for the team.

Kai answered 5 of the questions correctly before anyone else answered those, so he gets creditted with those 5 questions, earning $3,600 for the team.

Blayze answered one of the questions correctly before anyone else answered it, so he gets creditted with that 1 question, earning $1,200 for the team.

No one else was left with any questions to answer, so they did not earn any money for the team.

The team earned $15,950 this Mission. However, if you all maximized your earning potential, you could have won $26,000 this Mission. There were 26 questions on purpose because there were 13 players. If every player answered two different questions correctly, then everyone would have earned $1,200 for their first answer and $800 for their second answer, so each player would have earned $2,000, making the Mission worth $26,000.

A Cryptic Mission
Welcome to the fifth Mission of the game. In this Mission, there are a set of 8 Cryptograms below. Solve all 8 cryptograms for a total of $60,000. That means that each cryptogram is worth $7,500. If the team can tell me what all 8 cryptograms have in common, you will earn a $10,000 bonus. You will get three attempts at guesses and each attempt has to be sent by a different player. Each part of the Mission will count as an attempt. This means that if you send in all 8 cryptograms at once, that counts as one attempt and what they have in common is a seperate attempt. However, if you send in cryptograms seperately, each PM counts as an attempt. No player may make more than one attempt at this Mission. Subsequent attempts by the same player will be ignored.

MISSION 6
Telephone
In this Mission, 9 of the 11 remaining players have been split up into one of three groups. Each Group will contain part of a very short puzzle that will be needed to gain access to the second part of the Mission. However, none of the three groups are allowed to talk to one another. This is where the two leftover players come into the equation. The two players not in a group will be known as the Communicators and they are the only ones allowed to speak with any of the groups. It is their job to relay messages from one group to another in order to get the Mission completed.

Now, here is a breakdown of everything you will see in the groups.

Each group will have a word (it will be labeled) and the task of all three groups is to figure out what 4-letter word comes after each group's word (it will all be the same 4-letter word). So, there may be a few words that can fit after your group's word, but I am looking for the word that fits after all three.

When you get that word, you must then decode it into a number combination to unlock the board to you second part. However, the numbers you decode each letter into will be found in another group's board, so that info must be relayed through the Communicators to each Group. For Example, if the word that went after all of the words was THE and t=8, h=15, and 3=19, then the password to your next board would be 81519, but that would only work for the group that has t=8, h=15, and e=19.

In the second part of your Mission, when you get there, you will just have a word in the board. It is one word in a three-word phrase that is the answer to the Mission. Once again, only the Comminicators may speak between the groups. Once all three words have been put together to get the phrase, one player (it doesn't matter who) must then PM me the phrase. If you complete this task within 48 hours, then the team will earn $50,000 for the pot. Fail, and no money will be awarded.


RESULTS
Yesterday Diane sent me an answer to the Mission at 11:34pm (EST) and it said NEED BETTER SERVICE. But was that the correct phrase?




















































































No, it wasn't. The phrase was NEED HARDER MISSIONS, but I guess not after this one.

The name of the Mission Telephone comes from a game where people pass a phrase to one another and then the last person has to say what the second-to-last person told them was the phrase. The idea is that the more people information has to go through, the more diluded and incorrect the end result will be. I turned this into an online Mission as best I could.

If you all had won the Mini Mission, then here are the two things that would have been different:
1. For the three words that you had to figure out what came after them, I would have told you all that it was a recent puzzle on the GSN show Playmania.
2. You wouldn't have had to tell me the phrase in the second part. One person from each team would have just needed to post in there.

The next Mission is still tomorrow at whatever time I said it would be when I announced it earlier in the Mission Times thread.

Unanimous
In this Mission, you all get to give someone an Exemption. For those of you who do not know what an Exemption is, it's basically a free pass this round. The player who earns the Exemption does not have to take the Quiz and will automatically advance to the next round.

Now, you all need to decide which one of you gets the Exemption and if all 11 of you vote for the exact same person to get the Exemption, that player will get the Exemption and the team will earn $25,000. However, if you fail to reach a unanimous decision, then the team will lose $10,000 and no one will get the Exemption.

You have 48 hours.


Everyone except for Bae voted for Diane to get the Exemption. There was no unanimous decision, so the team loses $10,000 this Mission bringing your total money won to $96,450.

In Sync
Welcome to the eighth Mission of the game. In this Mission, we will see how in sync all of you are with one another. In this Mission, you will be given a list of 20 subjective questions and be asked to answer with what you think the majority will answer. Every time you answer in the majority, you earn $300 for the team. With 10 players and 20 questions, that means that there is a total of $60,000 possible for this game. I must ask that you do not share answers or even hint at answers with anyone.

In this Mission, you all must alternate between groups making posts exactly 15 minutes apart from one another in an Official Mission 11 thread in your Discussion board. One group must make a post and then one member of the other group must make another post 15 minutes later exactly. For every subsequent post you get after the first in each chain, you will earn a point for the team. To win this Mission, you must earn a total of 45 points (a total possible 191 are here) and every person must earn at least one point for the team.

Well, obviously the necessary number of points were not acheived, so the $70,000 did not get banked.

The team needed to answer all 13 questions correctly in order to complete the Mission. All of your answers matched up with mine completely except for one: To avoid the bad luck for breaking a mirror, what must you do?

You are supposed to wait 7 hours (one for each year of bad luck), then take the pieces of the mirror and bury them out in the moonlight.














































However, I am not going to get caught up on semantics for that question. Your answer was close enough to what I had to be accepted and I'm sure there are variations where you don't even have to wait the 7 hours.

It's Basic Mathmatics, Duh
In this Mission, you will need to solve algebraic equations to get letters to plug into the phrase below in order to spell out the phrase. When you solve the equation, the number answer you get is where you'll stick the letter from that equation into with the hidden phrase. For example: 2x = 4. X = 2 so everywhere there would be a 2 in the hidden phrase, you would replace it with an X. However, that is for the example only. Here is the phrase:
