Man, you go through the jobs don't you? Wasn't it just like 2-3 weeks ago you were starting a new job and working two jobs?

Yeah, when I left my other job for my last job, I had also put in an application at the place I'm working at now. The place I'm working at now contacted me a week after I started my other job, so I put in my two weeks at that job and am now starting another. This one is going to pay $1.50 more an hour to start off with, with a raise after 90 days and I'll be training for a job that'll pay me $6.50 more an hour than my last job. I'm trying to get out of my lease and leave the apartment complex I'm currently staying in. Back in July they wouldn't let me pay my rent on time cause they decided they no longer accepted cash and I had to order checkbooks, making my rent late and no matter how much I argued with them about how they should have given me notice, they still charged me late fees. Now, they took me off of my payment plan without giving me any notice and when I went to pay my first half of my rent, they told me I had to come up with the second half of it before 5pm that day or face late fees (it was 4:30pm). So, they are really trying to screw me over there. Also, in my lease, I'm supposed to meet my roommates before they move in to ee if we get along. I get home from work one day to see some "intruders" in my apartment. The third time in the past three months I've cursed out the people in the office I have begun composing a letter to send to the Better Business Bureau.

I think one of my roommates might be a bit nutty. I came home today after being gone for pretty much the past month (I came here for clothes and to shave for work, but nothing beyond that) and there's salsa all over the kitchen and my roommate's in the hospital. According to him, he set the salsa down (plastic container) and it exploded everywhere. He got so mad, he stabbed a wall with a knife and when the knife stopped on the wall, his hand kept going, slicing it open.
So, now I'm not too sure how "stable" he is...

What kind of apartment complex do you live in where they assign you roommates?

Sounds more like a college dorm to me! Wow! Don't they understand that YOU are paying THEM and not the other way around? I think that they need to be reminded of that fact and understand that it is not only rude but dangerous for them to "assign" you a room mate! You could be allowing a clepto or worse a murderer into your home and if he steals from you is your apartment complex going to reimburse you for damages? I doubt it! I would seriously (and quickly) take some action to get this resolved or I would find me a new place to live!
